Benelli Announces the TRK 702X Adventure Bike for European and US Markets
Benelli, the Italian brand owned by Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJ Motor, continues to release new models. With a wide range of bikes available, it can be difficult to determine which ones are exclusive to China and which are for the global market.
However, we now know that the TRK 702X, a middleweight adventure bike, will be available in both the European and US markets. The pricing for the US market has not yet been confirmed. The TRK 702X is a middleweight ADV bike with a 700cc engine, putting it in direct competition with the Yamaha Ténéré 700 and Aprilia Tuareg 660. It is designed for off-road use as well as on-road riding.
Benelli typically offers its adventure bikes in two trim options: a standard road version and a rugged off-road version with the "X" designation. The TRK 702X features knobby tires, wire-spoked wheels, and long-travel suspension. The front forks are 50mm inverted units with adjustable settings and provide 173mm of suspension travel. The bike also has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoked wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.
In terms of performance, the TRK 702X is equipped with a 698cc parallel-twin engine, liquid-cooling, and electronic fuel-injection. It delivers a maximum power of 70 horsepower and 68.2 Newton-meters of torque. In Europe, there is an A2 restricted version available with limited power output.
Benelli has incorporated a range of technology into the TRK 702X to make it competitive in the market. It features a full-color TFT display, LED lights, and aluminum luggage racks as standard. Additionally, the bike is compatible with optional extras such as a heated saddle and heated grips.
The European price for the TRK 702X is set at 7,999 Euros, which is approximately $8,687 USD. The pricing for the US market has not yet been confirmed, but the bike is listed on Benelli's US website.
