We don’t usually ride motorcycles with the intention of saving gas.

Typically, we prioritize smiles per gallon over miles per gallon when riding motorcycles. However, there are some individuals who rely on their bikes for daily transportation and value efficiency and cost-savings.

Introducing the Qidian 150 C: A Stylish and Fuel-Efficient Cruiser

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Qidian has developed a new model called the 150 C. This retro-inspired cruiser offers the same range as a fuel-efficient commuter scooter, making it a unique option for those seeking style and efficiency.

Impressive Range and Fuel Economy

The Qidian 150 C boasts a 4.4-gallon (16.5-liter) gas tank and can travel an impressive 562 miles (900 kilometers) on a single tank. This equates to an astonishing fuel economy of 130 miles per gallon (55 kilometers per liter). Even when riding at higher speeds, the bike still maintains impressive fuel efficiency.

Engine and Performance

The bike is powered by a 150cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine. With a maximum power output of 19 horsepower and 11.2 pound-feet (16 Newton-meters) of torque, it may not offer exceptional speed and acceleration. However, its lightweight design, weighing just 326 pounds (148 kilograms), and low seat height of 27.5 inches (700 millimeters) make it an ideal choice for beginner riders and shorter individuals.

Availability and Pricing

Currently, it is uncertain whether the Qidian 150 C will be available outside of China. In China, it is priced at $1,925, making it an attractive option for those seeking a stylish and fuel-efficient motorcycle. There are speculations that it may be released in Europe under the Zontes brand, but this has yet to be confirmed.
