SSR Motorsports Becomes Exclusive US Distributor for QJMotor Motorcycles and Scooters

On September 5, 2023, SSR Motorsports and QJMotor announced that SSR is now the sole distributor of QJMotor motorcycles and scooters in the United States. QJMotor, also known as Qianjiang and Zhejiang Qianjiang Motorcycle Company, manufactures street motorcycles for various global markets.

QJMotor is the parent company of Benelli in 2023, which solidifies SSR Motorsports' role as the official US distributor. QJ Motor motorcycles were introduced to the US market earlier this year.

As of September 6, 2023, the QJMotor US website displays nine motorcycle and scooter models available in the American market. The motorcycle lineup includes the SRF135, SRV300, SRK400, SRK400RR, SRV550, SRK700, and SRT750X. The scooter options are the VPS50 and LTR150.

In the official press release, it was mentioned that there are 11 models, indicating that two models are not yet listed on the QJ Motor US website. Prices range from $1,999 for the VPS50 scooter to $8,599 for the SRT750X adventure motorcycle. All bikes come with a 12-month, 12,000-mile limited warranty in the US.

SSR Motorsports Dealer Locator already includes a specific search for QJMotor dealers. However, in some areas, the search radius may need to be expanded to find nearby dealers. Availability may vary depending on location.

While not all QJMotor models may be offered in the US, the possibility of the QJMotor SRK 800 RR being available in the future remains. The success of the current QJMotor models in the US market may influence this decision.

It is worth noting that QJMotor collaborated with Harley-Davidson on the X350 and X500 models, set to launch in Australia in December 2023. Although unlikely, it is an interesting piece of information to keep in mind regarding the US market.
